Organizations are obsessed with change, but they hardly notice transition. Yet transition - the reorientation process and renewal process that people go through whenever their lives are interrupted by change - is what makes change work. Without transition, a change is just a rearrangement of the furniture. Without transition, change just wears people out.

The Individual Transitions in Organizations Workshop has been developed to increase your ability to manage the transitions caused by change with less disruption and distress in your life and work.

It is designed to help everyone within an organization learn how to navigate through the significant changes they are facing. It will help participants understand their experience and learn personal survival skills needed in time of constant change and provides the knowledge and skills required to renew people's creativity and commitment so that the organization can implement its change successfully.


Training Outcomes

  • Differentiate between change and transition
  • Learn to identify the 3 stages ("Endings," "Neutral Zone," and "New Beginnings") of transition and where you are in the process
  • Create and implement strategies to successfully move through the stages of transition
  • Learn to effectively manage the impact of constant change and how to handle transitions caused by change with less disruption and distress
  • Learn to handle transitions caused by change with less disruption and distress in life and work
