Mindful Teaching: Creating a Learning Environment for Student Success

This course is designed to familiarize participants with the latest research connecting brain function and effective educational strategies that support the learning process. Throughout this workshop, participants will be engaged in experiential, brain-based activities and strategies to engage, motivate and build a learning community within the classroom. Regardless of the curriculum content area or grade level taught, participants will have opportunities to practice and apply these best practice educational strategies to their own lessons.
