Developing a strong, high functioning team must be deliberate and purposeful. The Team Development workshop will help you understand the foundational elements of a highly functioning team.
According to the McKinsey Report, 28 hours per week, on average, are spent in communication and collaboration; an important question to ask is how effective and productive is that communication and collaboration? Do employees exhibit behaviors that inhibit communication or promote it? Do you see your employees pulling rank when they collaborate together? Do your employees remain passive in team meetings? These are some of the many issues that can create a lack of teamwork within your workplace. When employees are working, on average, 40 hours a week and 28 of those hours are done collaborating internally, isn’t it important that we get those questions answered and the problems fixed? This workshop will give you the tools to begin to make such adjustments and hopefully turn 28 hours a week of unproductive team collaboration into 28 hours of productive and effective teamwork.
Adults like to participate in learning that is active and relevant. Sometimes it is assumed that because we are grown up, learning is now boring (e.g. powerpoints and lectures). Our workshops are designed to be fun and engaging. We draw on your previous experience to create a learning environment that you will enjoy. For example, in this workshop, we utilize legos in the learning process.
